Once you’ve scrubbed your tires and major wheel surfaces, it’s time to hit the crevices and less accessible areas of your tires and wheels like the lug nut recesses, brake callipers, sidewall lettering and small areas of the spokes that your large wheel brush just can’t reach.
The bristles on this small, car wheel brush are medium stiffness so they’re good for all-around use. They won’t bend away from tougher jobs, but they’re soft enough to protect sensitive surfaces. Use this car wash brush to clean tire and wheels and even grimy parts in the engine compartment.
To clean tires and wheels, rinse with a strong stream of water to wash away any loose soils. Spray your preferred wheel and tire cleaner onto the wheel and tire surfaces. Use a large wheel brush to scrub larger, exposed surfaces of the wheel and tire. Then, use this car cleaning brush to get into tighter spaces, scrubbing lug nut recesses, tire sidewall lettering and textures and smaller, detailed areas of the wheel and brake callipers, scouring away any mud, grime and baked-on brake dust. Rinse clean and towel dry tires, wheels and brake callipers.
